Beet Gummies
Beets might not be your first choice for making gummies, but they, and beet juice, are a good source of several important nutrients, including:
- Antioxidants: beets are a good source of antioxidants, which can help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.
- Fiber: beets are high in fiber, which can help with digestion and prevent constipation.
- Folate: beets are a good source of folate, a B vitamin that is important for proper brain function and the production of red blood cells.
- Manganese: beets are high in manganese, a mineral that is important for bone health and the metabolism of carbohydrates and amino acids.
- Nitrates: beets are high in nitrates, which can help lower blood pressure and improve exercise performance.
- Potassium: beets are a good source of potassium, a mineral that helps regulate heart function and fluid balance in the body.
Overall, beets are a nutritious addition to a well-balanced diet and can provide a variety of health benefits.
